Tab Trade - What Traders Should Know
TabTrade — What It Is
TabTrade launched in March 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker.
That last detail matters. It suggests the leadership knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. It is preferable to someone with no brokerage experience.
TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same infrastructure institutional desks use. The typical new launch leads with marketing and bonuses. Tab Trade did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.
The instrument list: forex, indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, equities, crypto, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For a platform that is a few months old, that range is broad.
The Software
Available: MT5, cTrader, and web trading. Both platforms from the same login. A lot of brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Access to both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.
MT5 is the default. Full charting, EAs, massive community. If you have traded on MetaTrader previously, it is familiar territory.
cTrader is the more modern one. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. cBot support. A lot of traders find it more natural once they try it.
FIX API is there for algo traders but is only on the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is said to be coming. That will make the platform set when it arrives.
What You Pay
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Simple. $0 to start. Works for anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 per side. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is often a fraction of a pip. Meaning your real cost can sit below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for an offshore broker. Most brokers that offer pricing like this want $500 or more to open. TabTrade has no minimum.
VIP account. $25,000 deposit required. FIX connectivity, execution under 20ms, negotiated fees. Not relevant to typical accounts. Do not worry about it unless you move real size.
Execution Speed
This is the thing this broker stands apart. Equinix servers in London. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. Those are proper execution targets. Most retail brokers quote 100ms to 300ms.
Should you care? If you trade small timeframes, it does. The gap between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you hold positions longer, you will not notice. But the fact that the infrastructure is there. That is they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Put together those fill times with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and what you get holds up. Hardly anyone in this bracket offer execution like this.
The FSRA Question
Here is the part that requires honesty. TabTrade is under Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No investor compensation scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a problem for you, this broker is not for you. Plenty of FCA-regulated options out there.
But. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure costs real money. Fly-by-night platforms do not pay for proper execution infrastructure. That does not guarantee anything. It should factor into your assessment.
What you are accepting: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether the trade-off is worth it depends on you.
The Bonus
TabTrade runs bonus funds of up to two thousand dollars. Standard welcome offer. You deposit, they credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Review the fine print before funding.
